Record

[edit]

A fight is missing from Gray Maynard's record. At the start of his fight in the UFC, it said he was 3-0. I have no clue what this fight was, but it would be helpful if someone could readily find it.--Blingice 23:16, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I found it, but I couldn't find the exact date, event title, and if the decision was unanimous. Any extra information on that would be helpful.--Blingice 23:22, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Victory over Josh Powell

[edit]

I think we should find out how he beat Josh Powell. "N/A" looks... highly unprofessional. Taotd (talk) 23:41, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to see the results of his fights go to sherdog.com it's on his stats page. --Leclaird (talk) 17:39, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Concussion/KO

[edit]

I don't think that the last statement in the article should be stated as fact. A person can be knocked out without sustaining a concussion. It is improbable but not medically impossible. (article) This statement should be rewritten so as not to show favoritism towards one diagnosis or another. The article used as a reference simply states that the fighter in question (Gray Maynard) used the lack of a concussion as proof of his claim that he was not knocked unconsious. Unak78 21:17, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The question here is did he ever lose cosciousness, not so much in debating how broad we can stretch the definition of "knocked out".66.190.29.150 (talk) 13:53, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Also, can a doctor really say definitively that he did NOT suffer a concussion? This sounds much like the doctors could not see for sure that he HAD, and some are taking that as proof that he did NOT. The absence of proof is NOT the proof of absence. Clarification

[edit]

Can someone clarify what his father was a champion at? — Preceding unsigned comment added by ProjectWorldPeace (talkcontribs) 22:59, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Height

[edit]

What is this guy's honest height? I ask, because if you type in his name and the word height into a Yahoo search, you literally get listings from 5'6.5" to 5'9"; I've even seen a 5'10" listing. Depending on when the camera catches him, he can look all over the place. Anyone have any pictures of him standing straight next to other fighters of confirmed height or something? 5'18" seems to be the most often listed height for him. --Criticalthinker (talk) 06:48, 9 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
