[edit]There is a problem with the second reference which reads "Morgan Grissiths Welsh biography online" and should read "Morgan Griffiths Welsh biography online".
If I try to edit the page there is just a reflist macro and I don't know how to get into the detail to fix it. 62.255.146.59 (talk) 20:36, 26 June 2011 (UTC)

Is "Siân" a male name? In other words: were they (openly) gay?
[edit]Sorry, but Welsh names are not widely known. Is it a variant of Sean? I'm interested a) for linguistic reasons, and b) if they were openly gay that early on, that's surely worth mentioning. Arminden (talk) 18:31, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
- Siân or Sian is a Welsh female name, as is indicated in its article. I have added an archived copy of one of the sources[1] which confirms that this Siân was female, and I have edited the article to indicate this. Verbcatcher (talk) 22:51, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you Verbcatcher! Remarkable is now how she, as a woman, became his trainer & manager − quite a woman, not just for her own time. What I still don't find to be sufficiently clear: was it HER pat on the back that brought about his death? Probably not, but the article leaves one with this open question.
