Revisiting sexual assault allegations?

[edit]

I was doing some research on Wyss for class and discovered the allegations by a former employee (Jaqueline Long) that he assaulted her. The site to break this news was the Daily Caller, which is very heavily biased against Wyss as a Democratic Party donor. I was surprised that this wasn't mentioned in this wikipedia article, although it looks like it briefly did after the story broke in 2015. I could see not including it if there was evidence the Daily Caller made a false claim, but the story doesn't seem to be fabricated; Wyss even denied the act was nonconsensual. Am I missing something? Why isn't it included? Jau1029 (talk) 18:15, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see anything about sexual assault allegations against him in any reliable sources. This is a biography of a living person so we must be particularly careful. The Daily Caller is never reliable per WP:DAILYCALLER. If the best source available is the Daily Caller, that's a pretty good sign the material isn't worth including.
