Heinkel Tourist article
[edit]I am fairly certain there is enough good material available to write a decent article about the Heinkel Tourist scooter. With solid citations to good references, it could probably be brought to B class or maybe even a Good Article.
Anyone willing to accept the challenge? Respectfully, SamBlob (talk) 02:43, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
No fate
[edit]The article has no description of the fate of the company. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.88.128.121 (talk) 22:47, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
- Actually it does. In the Infobox at the top right, it states "Fate Acquired", with "Successor Vereinigte Flugtechnische Werke (VFW)" listed a few lines above it. The main text under Post-war also states,
In 1965, the company was absorbed by Vereinigte Flugtechnische Werke (VFW), which was in turn absorbed by Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm in 1980 and later became part of Airbus.
Hope that helps. BilCat (talk) 00:09, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
