Anti-minority bias/ phobia in the article?
[edit]This article appears to have a disproportionate coverage of topics and events, when it comes to Hindu Peshva/ Mahratta bigots and zealots.
"Muslim" invasions and captivity are being hyped, when there were many non Muslim/ pre-Islamic invasions and wars as well, eg Seleucid-Mauryan war and Shaivite Mihirakula's campaign to slaughter Buddhists in the Northwest Indian subcontinent.
Articles about the Persecution of Mangalorean Christians at Seringapatam, and the Goan Inquisition by Portuguese Christians have been promptly linked, but not the Mahratta Sackings of Goa and Bombay-Bassein.
Mahratti Maanuus/ Maharashtra-waadi supremacists led by AK Priolkar and Dayanand Bandodkar etc, who campaigned to supplant the Konkani language by calling it a dialect of Mahratti, or an impure Portuguese creole. This led to the Konkani language agitation.
Konkani speaking Mangaloreans, Karwaris& other South Indians/ North Indians were harassed by pro-Hindutva ideology Mahratti Maanuus mobs, Shiv Sena and MNS in the Lungi Hatao Pungi Bajao riots in Bombay, Konkan. There is no article available for this, only a passing mention of it in Goa Opinion Poll.
Also, I have seen a video and read reports about a Hindutva outfit called "Hindu Hithrakshana Vedike", they forcibly entered the property of Lawrence Church at Mangalore, claiming that the Church is harassing locals.
There are bigots and zealots in the Hindu majority too, they are being downplayed or whitewashed as "Hindu nationalists" via a campaign of historical revisionism or orangeation, take for eg Shefali Vaidyaji, a Mahratti Sanghi gangwoman and her hindutvafied "Goa Inquisition" propaganda. I've edited the lead Special:Diff/1042007995, to bring WP:balance into the article. Nolicmahr (talk) 19:27, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
