  • ... that Ina Caro, the wife of The Power Broker and The Years of Lyndon Johnson author Robert Caro, is the sole research assistant for his books? Source: "He writes about the 522 interviews that went into The Power Broker and the thousands for the Johnson biography, completed with help from his wife and research assistant, Ina Caro" (Columbia Magazine) Source: "His sole assistant is his wife, Ina, herself an author." • Thought I’d review since I’ve read this previously. Everything is thoroughly referenced and neutrally phrased. The article is new enough and long enough. The only Earwig pings are from long quotes which I would suggest trimming but it’s not a DYK criteria so that’s ok. I do think the hook should be tweaked slightly—the sources say she was his only research assistant, which to my ear is different from being the books' sole researcher—latter sounds like he didn’t do any research which isn’t the case. The obvious fix is switching it to “the sole research assistant”, but Thriley if you have another idea I’m all ears. Innisfree987 (talk) 19:41, 13 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
