article seems too biased

[edit]

The article seems too biased and doesn't seem to be NPOV, is probably written by a fan. Needs to be made neutral. --Madhu 13:52, 9 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes i created it with minimal info, but others made the article as his complete biography. We will try to make it short and better article --M.arunprasad 05:29, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Jeevamanaa.jpg

[edit]

Image:Jeevamanaa.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Up coming films

[edit]

Jeeva is on a high thanks to Katcheri Arambam. His next release after Siva Manasula Sakthi, he is looking forward to this release and a hat trick. In an exclusive interview, he tells us whats special about this film for him…

You have kept news about this film Katcheri Arambam mostly under wraps. How much of the film is completed? Its directed by Thiravanan who has assisted Seeman and others earlier. Its under RB Chowdarys Super Good Films banner and my 5th film with my dad. Music is by Immaan. 2 schedules have been completed. Only 15 days shooting is left and most of the film is over. We have two songs in Agra and Rajasthan remaining to be shot. Yes, we haven’t divulged much about the film so far but its due for a Divali release.

Whats your role in it and who is your co-star? I play a boy who is quite vetti ( unemployed vagabond type) in the film. But he is rich and he comes from the village to the city. He is very crooked and knows how to get his way diplomatically in life. Poonam Bajwa plays a vetinary student in it.

What can the audience look forward to in this film? JD Chakravarthy is playing an important parallel role. He plays a city based villain. I am teaming up with Vadivelu for the first time and it’s a real fun film. It’s a breezy romantic comedy with the entertainment being almost like a Rajni film.

Where all have you shot ? We shot in Kumbakonan and Chennai.

So what are your expectations from this film? This is my 12th film so far. I am looking at a hat trick with Katcheri Arambam after the success of Thenavattu and Siva Manasula Sakthi. (laughs). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.164.246.194 (talk) 13:59, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Jeeva (actor)Jiiva —Relisting. Vegaswikian (talk) 22:03, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There is a redirect from Jiiva to here, but if this is the actors official homepage [1], it appears the other page should be the actual article and this the redirect. MM 207.69.137.43 (talk) 03:54, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The press appears to refer to him as Jeeva [2] [3] so I am not sure which way this should go. MM 207.69.139.142 (talk) 05:21, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Jeeva (actor)Jiiva – He is now being referred to and credited as such only. He has explicitly stated that he changed his name (see Times of India article). Also, as stated above, his official website confirms that Jiiva is his actual screen name now. Johannes003 (talk) 14:44, 15 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Contents of the filmography

[edit]

per policies, guidelines and manual of style as outlined in more detail [4] the filmography should not be formatted in a manner that promotes inclusion of trivia, gives undue weight to projects that are not completed vs actually existing films, does not take use of the columns to actually organize information by the stated column headers etc. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 14:10, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

WP:FILMOGRAPHY explains everything. An example of the style of filmography. Nothing more, nothing less. Projects that are not completed are films too, nowhere it is prohibited to add these into the table. Veera Dheera Sooran (talk) 14:30, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
1) WP:FILMOGRAPHY does not stand a alone. as a project based guideline, it must follow and be subject to Wikipedia wide policies and guidelines. 2) projects that are not completed are NOT films. You cannot see a not completed project in a theater. you cannot see a not completed project on a DVD. 3) If you are requiring wording to be "explicit", you have not shown any explicit permission to include not completed projects.
Given what you have presented is "nothing explicitly prohibits" and weighing that against all of the policies and guidelines and actual facts that I have outlined, I dont see that your position has any validity.-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 15:24, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
