[edit]i have an image for this article, just not sure where it is at the moment.--Alhutch 15:50, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
This sounds like it was written by a member of Mr. Tierney's staff. The first thing I noticed about it is that it mentions his attempts to lower the cost of college, but gives inadequate information on how he plans to accomplish it. It later mentions that his bill seeks to keep tuition costs down, but without just a tad more detail, I cannot tell if it is a serious, intelligent proposal or just grandstanding. I am tempted to remove it, unless sufficient detail is added.Bostoner (talk) 02:22, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
Health Care Reform
[edit]A minor change: I amended the sentence about Mr. Tierney's vote for the health care bill, both to make it more neutral (I simply indicated he voted for it instead of editorializing) and more accurate (by naming the bill appropriately). I know trying to keep articles about political figures neutral is a pipe dream, but it's worth a try. Anonymous 03:11, 31 March 2010 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.58.193.219 (talk)

Since it's been over a month, I'll review this article in the next few days. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 06:15, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
To start things off, Ref #25 (White House veto threat) is a deadlink. Fix that while I go over the prose. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 04:26, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
- Is somebody actually handling this? AGK [•] 17:28, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
- The editor's still active, and I got swamped on multiple fronts, so only getting to it now. Here are the prose issues with the article:
- For references, page numbers should be included where applicable. for example, ref #27 (stepson arrested) should have B5 added.
- isolated single-digit numbers should be written out, i.e. "4 percentage points" should be 'four percentage points'.
Just a few issues, so I'll put the article on hold for five days and pass it when the issues are fixed. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 03:44, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
- The article looks better now, and since the issues are fixed I'll pass it as a GA. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 04:11, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
