The result of the move request was: Moved both per nom, and a dab page created at base title. Neither sportist is exceptionally notable (thus WP:NOPRIMARY applies), and reasonable evidence has been put forward that the footballer is seldom referred by the maternal surname. No such user (talk) 10:42, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
– No WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, so DAB should be at base name and pages disambiguated properly. WP:COMMONNAME for both is just "Jorge Pina". Ortizesp (talk) 14:02, 9 September 2020 (UTC) —Relisting. Primefac (talk) 18:04, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose Jorge Pina Roldán is already at a base title, with the article titled as this on other wikis. The Jorge Pina can just have a hatnote to point to the footballer. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 15:14, 9 September 2020 (UTC)
- The footballer does not use his maternal surname, his WP:COMMONNAME is just "Jorge Pina". Sources already on page: 1, 2, 3, 4. Adding (footballer) as DAB is standard and recommended over a never used maternal surname. And as mentioned previously, the fencer is not the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC.@Lugnuts:--Ortizesp (talk) 15:42, 9 September 2020 (UTC)
- Support 1st no clear primary topic, the fencer gets 9 but Roldán gets 35 and Jorge Pina Roldán gets 27[[1]]. No comment on 2nd. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:29, 9 September 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose first (unless Roldán is moved to basename); Support second per COMMONNAME (unless Roldán is moved to basename). No need for a third page (dab) in a situation with two obscure topics. At least this way some people searching with this title immediately get to the page they seek, instead of nobody.
- Alternatively, would support swapping which one gets the PRIMARYTOPIC basename (Support first, oppose second, and move Roldán to basename). —В²C ☎ 15:25, 13 October 2020 (UTC)
- If there's no clear primary topic then per WP:NOPRIMARY we have the DAB at the base name, we don't force 1 or the other to be primary. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:23, 13 October 2020 (UTC)
- Yes. I call WP:IAR on noprimary in two dab cases like this for reasons I just gave. Nobody benefits from a dab page at the basename for which there are only two uses. Back when reason prevailed more often (circa 2008) two dabs actually said that. Put another way, the standard for PT should be very low in two dabs cases - so low that whichever gets the most page views is the PT. —В²C ☎ 18:02, 13 October 2020 (UTC)
- IAR (aka do-something-daft) is something reserved for mega-fingers to Wikipedia rules - for example Madonna who is so much more than a mere singer, Michael Jackson albums, or blond Serbian tennis players with anti-diacritic fan editors. It isn't something we cry for micro-stubs where newspaper articles are about a third Jorge Pina who doesn't even have an article. In ictu oculi (talk) 09:05, 28 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Born2cycle: we now have a DAB page with 4 items, does that change your thoughts? Crouch, Swale (talk) 09:01, 28 October 2020 (UTC)
- No. Those other entries are highly unlikely relative to these two uses to be sought by anyone searching with this name as a search term. For all intents and purposes this is still a two dab situation. —В²C ☎ 21:10, 29 October 2020 (UTC)

- Support both per article, move Jorge Pina (disambiguation) to no primary, as Spanish Wikipedia has. In ictu oculi (talk) 08:52, 28 October 2020 (UTC)
