This article's rating?

[edit]

Is this really only a start class article? Under the qualifications ratings I would say it is a solid B article. The article adequately covers Family background/studies, Early career and significant breakthroughs, Mature career including major debuts, List of roles, Complete discography, relevent bibliographic information, and contains Inline references, notes, sources, internal and external sources. The article really is only lacking in Critical appreciation and Illustrations. Perhaps I am not being critical enough.Nrswanson (talk) 01:21, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've uprated it to B but this doesn't mean much because the real assessments (on comment pages) haven't started yet. --Kleinzach 01:44, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

EMIClassics, please do not keep adding the section Handel's Furore, as you did here. It is not only blatant advertising, but also a blatant copyright violation from http://www.prestoclassical.co.uk/r/Virgin/5190382l (amongst other places). Thank-you. File:0213 2012-grammy-awards-joyce-didonato we.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

[edit]
An image used in this article, File:0213 2012-grammy-awards-joyce-didonato we.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

To take part in any discussion, or to review a more detailed deletion rationale please visit the relevant image page (File:0213 2012-grammy-awards-joyce-didonato we.jpg)

==Opera Project Rating== Red links need searching/correcting. I've just done a batch of them - spelling mistakes etc. These need doing as a priority. --Kleinzach 05:55, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
