I'm not sure if this is really worth mentioning, but Jr. Pac-Man also featured anti-aliased text rather than using the default built-in text font that most video games used at the time. --Birdhombre 19:21, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Why was the note on the orange ghost being renamed Tim removed? That was his name. The orange ghost in Pac-Man is Clyde, and in Ms. Pac-Man it's Sue; in this game, it's Tim. And what's this about "alien ghosts"? Yum-yum is Blinky's daughter, with a bow on her head. Birdhombre 17:34, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC) I don't know enough about this game to say what's up with the "alien ghost" stuff in this article, but I did remember the orange/brown ghost being named Tim (it's in the intro; the game names off all the ghosts). Sooo.. I put the 'Tim' note back in. Hopefully nobody removes it. :P -Locke Cole 12:32, 15 October 2005 (UTC)

"Clyde", "Sue" and "Tim" were all reportedly the names of programmers. It seems the English name of the fourth ghost was kept reserved for inhouse representation. I personally always thought Yum Yum was wearing a beanie cap like Jr., but being female would make more sense since they run off together in love. Eric B 19:43, 9 January 2006 (UTC)

Requested move[edit]

All the other Pac-Man articles include a hyphen, so Jr. Pac-Man should as well. However, a page already exists under that name (a copy 'n' paste which I reverted), but most of the history for this article can be found at "Jr. Pac Man" (without the hyphen).

Add *Support or *Oppose followed by an optional one-sentence explanation, then sign your vote with ~~~~

Please note that once the page is moved to Jr. Pac-Man, the screenshot image will need to be renamed with a hyphen as well, in order to work with the {{PAGENAME}}.png template. --Birdhombre 03:01, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
Couldn't you just change [[Image:{{PAGENAME}}.png|225 px|Screenshot {{PAGENAME}}]] to [[Image:Jr. Pac Man.png|225 px|Screenshot of Jr. Pac-Man]] ? --Qviri 05:33, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
Good point. I guess I was just thinking for consistency's sake we could leave the info box template as is. Either would work. --Birdhombre 12:57, 29 December 2005 (UTC)

Another admin already did this. WhiteNight T | @ | C 04:18, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

Kill screen info[edit]

I added some info about the kill screen, but wasn't able to add a link to the source ( since that site is blocked. The kill screen is reproducible in MAME, though... not sure what other source might be appropriate to link to, if one is even needed. 28bytes (talk) 05:36, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

The site is no longer blocked. (talk) 21:13, 15 March 2017 (UTC)

I think it would be a good idea to place a list of bonuses and their point values in this page. (talk) 16:21, 15 March 2017 (UTC)

Do you have an independent reliable source that discusses this? It sounds like it would be trivial to general readers. - SummerPhDv2.0 21:08, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
That's the point. List the bonuses and their values, citing a reliable source. (talk) 21:12, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
I take it this means you do not have an independent reliable sources discussing this. - SummerPhDv2.0 21:23, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
I just think that readers may be interested in what the prizes and their point values are. (talk) 21:27, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
I already heard you: You do not have an independent reliable sources discussing this. To repeat: Given your extensive history, you will need to provide sources. - SummerPhDv2.0 21:50, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
