Karli-EliSanjak of Karli-Eli – It should be named like all the other sanjaks of the Ottoman Empire. eh bien mon prince (talk) 09:25, 10 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Weak oppose for the simple reason that it is not necessary. Most of the sanjaks were named after their capital city, and hence it makes sense to prefix them with "Sanjak of". Alternatively, they were named after a geographical feature or region, e.g. "Sanjak of Rhodes", but then the "Sanjak of" is again needed to disambiguate between the feature itself and whatever other political or other entities may have been named after it. Karli-Eli, on the other hand, is a unique case: it refers solely to a specific region of Greece in Ottoman times, and the "Sanjak of" in front of it would be redundant. • Oppose per Constantine. Lazistan seems to be in the same position. --BDD (talk) 23:36, 18 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
