Appears in Hutteroth (p194) under name "Kawkab Bani Krad", pop 41 households and 7 bachelors (all Muslim). Zerotalk 15:51, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Crusader: Casale Coket (Grootkerk p185). But Pringle (Secular...) places Coketum at Kuwaikat also previously called Kawkab. Zerotalk 15:55, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I'm sure. I've been checking the coordinates. The grid reference (like 173/248 for this place) is very handy in identifying places. Kuwaykat is 164/264 and Belvoir is 199/222. Zerotalk 16:19, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Apperently then there is still some clean-up needed in the Kawkab al-Hawa-article? Huldra (talk) 16:47, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe the only error is calling it Kuwaykat in the third sentence. Zerotalk 16:54, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The village, Kaukab is large on SWP map 05...however, this seem to be missed by SWP! Cannot find it in SWP, neither could Petersen. Only the spring is noted, on SWP I:268. Cheers, Huldra (talk) 18:11, 3 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Zerotalk 12:37, 4 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Kaukab, meaning

[edit]

Kaukab, (meaning "planet"),[1] - but if we take a look there, source [1], we read: Kaukab means star. 91.61.210.98 (talk) 20:36, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, you are quite right. Some IP had changed it, I have changed it back. Cheers, Huldra (talk) 20:44, 3 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
