Keenan Forson → Keenan Appiah-Forson – The page was created with the subject's common name Kenan Appiah-Forson, however an editor moved the article to Keenan Forson and changed all links with Appiah-Forson to Forson. The Appiah-Forson is 1. The subject's surname (The surname is a compound name) 2. It is also the subject's common name, his media name and commonly recognizable name. It would be better if the Keenan Forson is rather the redirect to Keenan Appiah Forson. Sources that show that the Keenan Appiah-Forson is the common name: [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9] Ampimd (talk) 04:11, 10 December 2021 (UTC) — Relisted. P.I. - Oppose: West Ham call him "Keenan Forson", as well as himself on his Twitter. On his Twitter you can see the club exclusively call him "Keenan Forson", and only Forson, not Appiah-Forson, is listed on teamsheets. UEFA also go with just Forson, as do Getty Images. It may be that Appiah-Forson was more commonly used in the past, however on all official sources in December 2021, it looks as if he's just going by Forson. I'm sure this will continue to be used more often after his debut. NouveauSarfas (Talk page) 15:49, 10 December 2021 (UTC)
- Appiah-Forson has been listed on almost all the team sheets since his U18, U23 till date, [10][11][12][13][14][15] References from his U23 matches, from SkySports and other reliable team news and sheets. As I indicated, the name Appiah-Forson is his surname because it is a compound name and that is his common and media name as well. Even his Jersey name is Appiah-Forson [16]
- On the West Ham website in all these articles he is referred to as Appiah-Forson when he was playing for either the U18 or U23 [17][18][19][20][21][22][23]. There are countless number of articles and references who refer to him by Appiah-Forson and not Forson. Ampimd (talk) 17:41, 10 December 2021 (UTC)

- Match reports and previews from West Ham website [27] Appiah-Forson on the Hammers News website[28][29][30][31]
- Due to his Ghanaian descent he has been covered in several Ghanaian media outlets also as Appiah-Forson [32][33][34][35][36] Ampimd (talk) 19:23, 10 December 2021 (UTC)
- All football databases refer to him as Appiah-Forson Sky Sport, FBref,worldfootball.net/, Soccerway, Global Sports Archive, Kicker Ampimd (talk) 19:29, 10 December 2021 (UTC)

- Comment West Ham seem confused as to what to call him per this.--Egghead06 (talk) 13:39, 11 December 2021 (UTC)
- Comment: We’ve also had this situation with Finlay Lockett, who’s page name was changed to the name he now goes by. NouveauSarfas (Talk page) 13:11, 12 December 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose - at this moment he is not well known to see if we should move it or not, it may become clearer to settle on an opinion if he starts playing first team football either for West Ham or someone else. I'm inclined to go with what West Ham say on their website from GiantSnowman. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 22:55, 13 December 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose. Evidence presented above seems to indicate the current title is the common name. Rreagan007 (talk) 21:33, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
