[edit]I apologize if I made an error in renaming this article. "Kelso-Longview (Amtrak station)" was on the wikify list and while searching for external references discovered that almost no one referred to it by that name. It is my understanding that the title should use the most common name, so I moved it.
I don't object to returning it to the original location, if that's more correct.--andersonpd 02:11, 29 August 2005 (UTC)
- Nothing wrong with the current location - it's just the way it was moved. See Help:Renaming (moving) a page. --SPUI (talk) 03:39, 29 August 2005 (UTC)
- Right ho -- I had read the page and thought I'd done it properly. I'll be more careful in future.--andersonpd 04:27, 29 August 2005 (UTC)
Do you have some source for passenger traffic being in decline? Cascades traffic has been steadily increasing. --Bensch 20:23, 21 September 2005 (UTC)
- Agreed that unless there is some source, this sentence should be removed. Ahockley 17:04, 10 November 2005 (UTC)
I changed the reference of Victoria, BC, to Vancouver, BC, as the Amtrak Cascades do not go onto Vancouver Island. However, although the service beween Vancouver, BC and Seattle, WA is called Cascades, and the service between Seattle, Portland, and Eugene is also so named, trains that run between Vancouver and Seattle do not continue to or from the south, nor are the trains timed so that one can continue a journey by train. If one wishes to go from Kelso to Vancouver, BC, he or she must either spend a night in Seattle or make part of the journey by bus. 71.131.246.126 18:38, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
Gallery
[edit]My removal of the gallery from this article wasn't inadvertent; per WP:Galleries image galleries are discouraged unless there's some specific reason to have one. A gallery consisting of a single image showing the station building doesn't in my view meet that standard, and the reader is one click away from the image gallery on Wikimedia Commons. Mackensen (talk) 22:34, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
- Hello Mackensen. I do agree one photo is a bit of a stretch. I will move the photo to be included inside the article. If this does not satisfy, please let me know. Ks03 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 05:22, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
