Not a very good article. It says he lived in Kollam and contradicts itself by saying he lived at Srirangam. Neither is true because his capital was Mahabalipuram. I merged this page[edit]

WHAT IS THIS[edit]

The Bhakti cult consolidated the Vedic religion

Tamil bhakti cult does not recorgnise caste system and vedic rituals.Eventhough Bhakti traditions(overall) often fused with Bhagavad Gita and Bhagavata Purana,the traditions which initially start in medieval Tamil Nadu do not adhere/stress to these Sanskrit text and their concepts.It is wrong to include Tamil Bhakti as a part of Vedism as they greatly contraindicate(concepts,rituals)In terms of Pan India situation,this Bhakti traditions only seen as a defence towards other indian and non-indian religions rather than stressing the difference in terms of concept and culture that evolved through different Bhakti movements in different parts of India.--Rajendra Prasath Arumon 18:29, 4 July 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rajendra Prasath Arumon (talk • contribs)

Childish stupid statements[edit]

Alvars were 12 known Tamil Saints who helped to reestablish Vaishnavism in Tamilakkam.Malayalees as a distinct race only evolved about 13th century and that has nothing to do with Kulasekhara Alwar,Kollam era starts even after his death.PLEASE STOP THESE KIND OF BASELESS CLAIMS AND VANDALISE THE ARTICLE.--Tan Meifen (talk) 12:36, 17 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
