Semiprotection addition request[edit]

Because I read the history and noticed that the article has been semiprotected twice because people added a release date without evidence. I was wondering if you could consider saying in the release date section "(rumored release date April 20th 2020)". Could this work with Wikipedia's guidelines? If it doesn't please respond with why. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.116.29.100 (talk) 23:53, 28 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Generally not, per WP:RUMOUR. It could potentially be mentioned if it was widely reported on by reliable sources (which exclude posts of third parties on Reddit, Twitter, etc.) per WP:V, but that does not currently seem to be the case. Regards, Lordtobi () 07:36, 29 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ok thanks for the reply. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.237.105.106 (talk) 14:30, 29 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It would be good for like one week, cause people are spamming unofficial Release date.. At least SEMI protection for seven days would be good. We would be able to add Release date then, when it's fully Official...

Release Date[edit]

According to the Amazon Page for the game, the release date is listed as "31st of December 2023" but I don't know how accurate that might be. GabrielBell12fi (talk) 12:57, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nah, it cannot be so late, as is it is teased for late of this year at least... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:999:71:5EBC:9C55:AB6:C13:2163 (talk) 11:02, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This date might just be one of many placeholders for release dates on Amazon.-- Maxeto0910 (talk) 19:56, 11 July 2020 (UTC) A date that has 31st in it is normally a placeholder date. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C7:DD06:1F01:4DF0:3D67:E821:D5E2 (talk) 11:38, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If it seems like my edit is copying from this talk page section, it’s not. I did my own research on it and thought it would be helpful. Signed, RecRoomBoy537 (talk) 20:57, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 25 February 2021[edit]

Change "Early 2021" to "Spring/Summer 2021" 2A00:23C7:DD06:1F01:4DF0:3D67:E821:D5E2 (talk) 11:37, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done. Needs a reliable source. IceWelder [] 11:45, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

lego themselves gave the date spring 2021 in the trailer for the game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=syvicyCN_lw&t=139

That fails to verify the "Summer" part of your request. "Early" is already used in lieu of "Spring" per MOS:SEASON. IceWelder [] 12:20, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 2 September 2021[edit]

There is some incorrect information on this article. 77.100.111.48 (talk) 17:04, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 17:10, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Should Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga be considered a "Remake[edit]

While I was reading the article, I noticed that it was included in the "Video game remake" category. Category: Video game remakes I propose a removal from this category, as the game is significantly different than the game it is a "remake" of: Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. I cannot find any sources that refer to the game as a remake: It was certainly not branded as one.

I removed the category. It's never been marketed as a remake, does not have "Complete Saga" or any other previous LEGO Star Wars name in it, and in fact is a pretty big departure from the other games. Also the category was added by an IP editor only a day after the article's creation. --Teancum (talk) 23:07, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
