Notability
[edit]I see that this article is marked as lacking importance. I don't normally get involved on wikipedia, but I wanted to "pipe-up" about this one. I don't see how one TV show like "The Hulk" can be considered important, but another like this one is not. It seems like a judgement based on how popular it was. I find the value of wikipedia is in the ability to look up something obscure. I had never heard of this show until today. But when I ran across it, I wanted to know who it was published by, so I could get a copy of it. This is the kind of show I have been looking for, and if this article had been deleted, I would have had a hard time finding this info some other way. My understanding of the perpose of this rule is to prevent everyone from having there own personal page on wikipedia, or for them to make an article for there pet project. If this article isn't doing a good enough job of proclaming it's greatness, then instead of deleting it, do a little research and fill it in. Anyway, I am glad I had a change to read this before it was deleted. Trescott2000 08:19, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
- I wouldn't want to see this article deleted either, and as soon as it gets at least one valid reference, I'm sure the notability tag can be removed. Bilge [TC] 01:12, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
- I didn't wanted it to be deleted, too. So I researched a bit and found some validation in form of the official homepage of the Japan Foundation. Added some new information, too. I think this will do...Traumjaegerin 19:18, 5 August 2007
- This show is widely known in the Japanese enthusiast world online. Most places that you go to learn Japanese you can ask if people have heard of it, and you will almost always get a small if not large group of people saying that they heard of it. It's -very popular- so please mods keep this article online!--75.61.81.66 (talk) 05:41, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
As a Japanese language learner seeing the history of this and all of the other programs i had not heard of was extremely helpful. Please don't delete Tfinc (talk) 22:04, 30 December 2013 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Let's Learn Japanese Basic I title.jpeg
[edit]Image:Let's Learn Japanese Basic I title.jpeg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
