There used to be a Salty's in SE Portland along the Willamette River. There still is one on the Columbia, but all memory of the Willamette edition seems to be lost. I was looking on the map for where it used to be, but I don't see any hints. I lived for a few years near there and don't remember any ruins, etc. Salty's was a company Christmas party venue around 1985 or 1990. I lived in the neighborhood at SE 6th and Umatilla and that was less than a quarter mile from the restaurant. By 2002, I suspect all the bits were gone in favor of new construction for condos and the like. I haven't look in detail for clues but probably will do so in time. Anyone know anything? —EncMstr (talk) 23:24, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
