Where's Landmark?[edit]

I used to shop there all the time in 1996 - 1999 when I was living in the Phillipines. It's in Makati!

124.104.136.94 02:22, 2 December 2007 (UTC)The Landmark is actually a department store and supermarket, and is adjacent to the Ayala Center Mall. The Landmark is part of the Ayala Center Shopping Complex, which consists of SM Department Store Makati, Greenbelt, Glorrieta and Rustans.[reply]

There is another branch of Landmark department store-supermarket inside Triangle North of Manila or popularly known as TriNoMa fronting SM City North EDSA. Trinoma is accessible to the terminus of the MRT.

KCC Mall[edit]

It may be better if the article about KCC Mall of Gensan is shortened. An overview will do. The mall directory should be put somewhere else, like in a separate article for the mall.

Largest number of malls per square meter[edit]

Disregarding country size, is the Philippines the country with the largest number of shopping malls? From the nooks and crannies of the archipelago, you will find that every city will have its own trademark malls.

Gaisano re-added[edit]

Please do not delete the Gaisano article. Gaisano is an important shopping institution in the Vismin area.

Mbell 791983 (talk) 03:50, 10 February 2008 (UTC) I think that Gaisano is willing to build more malls after Pagadian and Iligan opened its malls. Possible locations for expansion will be in Zamboanga City, Dumaguete City, Koronadal City and Surigao City. Zamboanga City, however, has been really visited by Gaisano Group in October 2007 through a courtesy call with Zamboanga's mayor according to Zamboanga Today headline.[reply]

Gaisano for over the years continues to serve shoppers from VisMin area because of affordably-priced products to ensure its quality to customers. Besides VisMin, there was once a short-lived Gaisano Branch in Cubao, Quezon City, which was closed in the early 1990s. The rise of these malls in major cities and neighboring municipalities resulted in the prosper and greater economic impact in Visayas Mindanao.

Cleanup needed[edit]

This list needs a makeover. It's a total mess! O___O Xeltran (talk) 06:14, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Soon_to_Open.jpg[edit]

I'm removing Image:Soon_to_Open.jpg from the article. The image is clearly advertising. To the uploader: you might as well provide a free image of the upcoming mall itself. Xeltran (talk) 10:32, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Minor formatting question[edit]

This list appears on WikiProject Check Wikipedia's report about Headlines_start_with_three_"=". This is as the idea being that the first headline of an article should use a <h2> ("==") section header rather than a <h3> section header "===" (see Wikipedia:MOSHEAD#Section headings). I tried to fix this by changing the level of "Major Philippine Mall Chains" to "==". The following "==" sections all seem to be subsections of this one.

In addition, the list uses a lot of bolding around links. Personally, I don't think this is needed. In general, it's just the title of the article that is set in bold in the first section.

Unless there are reasons not to do so, I'd restore my edit. -- User:Docu

Can Someone please make this article protected[edit]

Can someone please request that this article be protected in order to prevent the addition of uncited proposed malls? It seems many IP address are doing unconstructive edits by adding uncited malls, even if there is no confirmation from the mall developers or even any reputabls source to back up their claim. It seems that they are doing this in order to create fame for their location. I am not sure how to make a request for protection. Rxlxm (talk) 15:37, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal to merge[edit]

  • Comment - As a Creator. I presume to isolate the shopping malls by area. It is better to supply the arrangement, the sort of figures and forms of facts in every shopping malls. The retail area, number of stores, notes, etc. to individually compares at latter listed.

Like what; List of largest shopping malls in the United States, it is an array of comparison by areas and notes. Whereas, to put the list of shopping malls by area in the article's page List of shopping malls in the Philippines standalone which it seems messy. However, if this list compiled with areas and number of stores, I could say "support" and not to divide it at any matters. Jonas'VM 12:52 18 July 2012 (UTC)

This article needs major reformatting.[edit]

I'm confused as to how this article ended up being a list of mall chains sorted by mall owner/operator instead of one that is sorted by location (i.e, a directory) like the way it's supposed to. This article seriously is no help to readers trying to find out where to shop in say, different cities in the Philippines. I suggest this article be moved to List of mall chains in the Philippines or be given a small section after the mall directory (by location). --RioHondo (talk) 16:25, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Done. --RioHondo (talk) 07:44, 20 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Priorities[edit]

The first pic should show the biggest mall of the Philippines (with all due respect to the Ayala Centet in Cebu). --112.198.82.73 (talk) 06:34, 30 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • The Philippines' biggest shopping malls are located in Metro Manila which already have their own space in the List of shopping malls in Metro Manila. The Philippine list intends to cover and highlight the provincial malls.--RioHondo (talk) 10:32, 30 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup in progress[edit]

This list is in dire need of a clean up. Please assist in any way you can by:

  • Removing entries that are not shopping malls
  • If a list entry has no article, provide a reliable source, otherwise consider creating the article.
  • Removing all the external links as per WP:NOTLINKFARM. There should be no Website columns in any tables. Ajf773 (talk) 21:12, 16 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
