WikiProject Terrorism[edit]

Why is this lynching article of interest to WikiProject Terrorism? I can appreciate that the lynching of members of a minority ethnic groups by mobs of the majority ethnic group could be considered terrorism, because such activities are intended to invoke fear and terror among the minority ethnic group in order to keep them under control. But when the majority ethnic group turn on one of their own, something else is going on in the society concerned. I don't see this as terrorism. Can someone explain why the term "terrorism" is applicable. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 09:52, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
