Ok... who put the MLS All-Stars in the losing column already? Heh.

The question is, how do we fix it without breaking the table? BassoProfundo 01:01, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Roster

[edit]

Shouldn't this have the rosters for All-Star team?--Jaysscholar 14:32, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That would be helpful.

Removing Infobox

[edit]

What are people's thoughts on removing the infobox? Despite this infobox being intended for tournament descriptions, it is placed here attempting to describe a uniquely American sporting event in traditional soccer terminology. Number of teams? Well there is never not 2. Most successful club? Highly irrelevant since it is never the same two twice (not to mention the All-Stars not even being a "club"). Region? Who cares? As there is no precedent in the world of soccer to follow as far as article format for this type of event, I say we take the lead of the other big 4 all-star games (Pro Bowl, MLB All-Star Game, NBA All-Star Game, NHL All-Star Game) and eliminate the box. --Blackbox77 (talk) 06:07, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Bayern Munich and 2014

[edit]

Until Bayern Munich is officially announced as the opponent, they shouldn't be added. Elisfkc (talk) 16:02, 3 December 2013 (UTC)  Done Elisfkc (talk) 21:02, 12 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Major League Soccer All-Star GameMLS All-Star Game – This longer version of this name is neither the official title of the event, nor the most common name for it. The league almost never writes the name this way; if you search for uses of the longer name on mlssoccer.com, Google only shows 12 results, none from later than 2019. If you search for the longer name in quotes across the broader web, there are some results, but they seem much more random and sporadic compared to the results for the shorter name in quotes. Even among those few results, most of them use the shorter name in their page title, and only have the longer name in the article body. IagoQnsi (talk) 03:23, 10 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
