I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of MadGibbs's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 16:55, 22 March 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Freddie Gibbs and Madlib are not called "Madgibbs". It's a nickname. This is the equivalent of having any other Wiki page posted under a nickname, like a page called "The Fab 4" for The Beatles, or "The Godfather of Soul" for James Brown, etc. 172.249.164.188 (talk) 16:58, 21 February 2019 (UTC)
Changing single list for Bandana
[edit]"Bandana" the single was confirmed to be a single unrelated to an album. In other words this track is not part of Bandana the album. Please change the list so it doesn't say that Bandana is a single released as part of Bandana the album. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:ED3:148:1C00:E13F:B64:D5F6:7365 (talk) 17:28, 30 May 2019 (UTC)

MadGibbs → Freddie Gibbs & Madlib – "MadGibbs" is really just a nickname. They are always credited as Freddie Gibbs & Madlib on their releases. Karbulot (talk) 19:34, 5 July 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. ASUKITE 19:45, 13 July 2022 (UTC)

- Hi, it looks like MadGibbs may be the most common name. The one you're proposing... it appears in various places with "&" or "and", and with the 2 people swapped as well. Dr. Vogel (talk) 22:36, 5 July 2022 (UTC)

- Support. Though "MadGibbs" does have some use in the press – more than I would have expected, to be honest – I think the nominator is correct that the term is just a nickname. In my experience, "Freddie Gibbs & Madlib" is the most common name, as well as the name used by the duo themselves. ModernDayTrilobite (talk • contribs) 20:33, 13 July 2022 (UTC)
- Support per nom and ModernDayTrilobite. Let's be encyclopedic here. BD2412 T 01:30, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
