Perhaps a Detailed Story-Line or Plot from her Novella or Most Prominent Short Story[edit]

We come away from this WIKI-BIO quite depressed. Brennan's life was decidedly not a bowl of cherries. Is there some way, in mid-article perhaps, to spruce up the tone somewhat with a more uplifting anecdote or plot-line? Everything in this bio points toward an overlay of destitution, darkness and despair. Perhaps an academic in Ireland, New York, or at The New Yorker itself, could do justice to her memory. Thanks. If her life was not a bowl of cherries and "the main themes in Brennan's short stories are feelings of loneliness, vulnerability, despair, spite, and fear" then the article should reflect that. Pinkbeast (talk) 15:48, 20 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
