[edit]

The prospectus of the Kindergaten Training College in Melbourne shows she was the prinicipal. - Aussie Article Writer (talk) 03:39, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I am trying to locate the article she wrote for the Australian pre-school quarterly. The following says that she wrote for them: Frances, Press; Wong, Sandie. Martin, Roslyn; Corcoran, Tara (eds.). A voice for young children: 75 years of Early Childhood Australia (PDF). Canberra, Australia: Early Childhood Australia. p. 50. ISBN 1-921162-71-6. - Aussie Article Writer (talk) 04:02, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Just a note: it would be interesting to read The Good Neighbor: The life and work of Fred Rogers. According to a Nature book review by Heidi Ledford, she says that "The book is very much a popular biography. At times jumpy and repetitive, it focuses heavily on anecdotes about McFarland’s life and work, without giving enough heft to the theory.".

Sounds like it might add some more info. - Aussie Article Writer (talk) 04:22, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

if she had a PhD, doesn't that make her Dr. Margaret McFarland? 67.164.18.219 (talk) 07:51, 5 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Update: ah yes. Here's a solid citation using her honorific. Can someone please fix the name of the article? Thanks! 67.164.18.219 (talk) 07:53, 5 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
