I've removed this article from the Acting theorists category as she does not appear to have developed any significant acting theory. Being a drama teacher and acting theorist are not the same thing. If she has developed a theory, then by all means add that info to the article with a source. DionysosProteus (talk) 23:25, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have noticed that questions of this distinction are often asked after on thes articles. The truth is, that up until about the mid 19th century, the distiction among the singers of the opera and the actros of the theatre was not as strict as it became later; both the singers and the actors were expected to sing and act. If singers had dramatic talent, they were expected to act in the theatre; and if actors were able to sing, they were expected to act in operas. Therefore, many of these artists (far from all, however) are known to have been both singers and actors in paralell, although one of these careers strongly dominated. Franck is known to have been both.--85.226.41.66 (talk) 14:47, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The parts are in danger of being deleted because the composer of the works is not written in the article. So I will place them here: She was described as acting with a deep feeling and great intensity and a with good control over her mimic that was never melodramatic. Among her parts were "one of the pleasures" in Armide (season 1786-1787), Maria in Gustaf Adolf och Ebba Brahe (Gustaf Adolf and Ebba Brahe) (1787-1788), Flattery in Alcides inträde i världen (The arival of Alcide in to the world) (1793-1794), Theodora in De gamla friarna (The two suitors) (1795-1796), Antiope in Renaud (1800-1801), Sabina in Den förmente prinsen (The suposed Prince) (1807-1808), madame de Veronne in Ambroise (1812-1813), Gertrud in Den Schweiziska familjen (The Swiss family) (1815-1816) and the abbess in Nunnorna (The nuns). Her most noted performances was Thilda in "Oden", Celestina and the Abess in "Korsfararne", and the leading parts in "Virginia", "Johanna af Montfaucon" and Fru Dorsan (Mrs Dorsan) in "Den svartsjuka hustrun" (The jealous wife); the lates one, in 1808, was considered her greatest triumph.--85.226.47.151 (talk) 10:53, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
