Trip West

[edit]

Mary has been the subject of articles, sermons, & books, with lots of material about her trip west. Some is embellished by folklore, some by religious usage, weeding out the 'history' could be difficult. Her son lionized her from the pulpit many times. The basic information is pretty straight forward, but......... Ideas?? WBardwin 18:14, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any sort of wikipedia notation that can be used to indicate "probably folklore" vs "solid fact"? --Kail Ceannai 21:19, 8 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Not that I'm aware of -- but we could probably simply "note" some of the more questionable items. There has also been considerable speculation about Mary's motives and feelings as she went west, but we don't have much relavant written material from her about emotions.
