The Term Masnavi refers to a poetic form in the Persian language. There are many Masnavis by many authors, not just one by Mevlana (Rumi). Granted: For Rumi enthusiasts and Turkey inspecific, "Masnavi/Mathnawi/Mesnevi" refers to the Major work of Rumi, but for an encyclopedia entry the word itself must be defined. Unfortunately, I am new here, and don't know how to make the change.Dharps (talk) 03:53, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
