Suicide?
[edit]This site claims Kulas committed suicide in 2001. I guess that's wrong?

Language
[edit]Wikipedia is uncensored for profanity, especially since the profanity in this article comes from quotes directly from the video of the incident, and Wikipedia has lengthy articles on the offensive words in question (Which I've included links to). Removing a swear word and replacing it with (Expletive) makes a quote somewhat ambiguous and therefore it can be misconstrued.Daigo 11:45, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
Citation?
[edit]Need an external citation for the convo between New Jack and Kulas after the blading. If you've seen the tape, there's a point just afterwards where Jack fumbles his weapon and drops it so he can bend down to talk to the teenager. You can clearly hear him ask if Kulas is alright, and the kid replies "Yeah". Throws the incident into a slightly different light.
Also anyone have a link to an article with details of the trial? Daigo 09:32, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
- The video link for Youtube is no longer valid.86.16.42.154 10:43, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
Move
[edit]I think this should be moved to Mass Transit incident. While Mass transit incident would be ambiguous, Mass Transit incident is not, due to capitalization, and stylistic protocols advise avoiding parenthetical notations in article titles. However, I'd like to make sure there's consensus, first. -Darryl Hamlin 05:24, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think capitalization would be enough to make it not ambiguous. This point has already been discussed in the deletion debate at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Mass_transit_incident anyway. Also, there's already a disambiguation page for anyone searching "mass transit incident," so anyone searching for the term should be able to find their way. Aplomado talk 05:28, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
- I suppose so, though I wouldn't say it was discussed there, it was stated by one person. Note to self, though, stop Wikipedia editing right before sleep. -Darryl Hamlin 16:00, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
- Took it away from the '1996 in sports' category since wrestling, much as I love it, is not strictly a sport. Feel free to override though, i just figured it was more appropriate. TheDingbat 21:50, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- It's sports related, so I think it should stay. Dark Rain

[edit]Can you explain why you turned this article into a redirect, and have you discussed it with anyone? Aplomado talk 01:09, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
The result of this AfD discussion was keep. (aeropagitica) (talk) 11:18, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
This was recorded by RFVideo (aka ECW Fancam). They would record every ECW house show, in case anything cool would happen it could be shown on Hardcore TV. They would also sell them & they can still be bought from the website. I think they are slowly transferring the ECW Fancams over to DVD.--Hndsmepete 03:37, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
Eric Kulas
[edit]I notice some pages regarding the incident have Eric Kulas wiki-linked, instead of creating a seperate page for Kulas, how about re-directing him to this page. Any thoughts? Raphie 15:51, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Mass Transit incident (professional wrestling) → Mass Transit incident – Unnecessary disambiguation. There is currently a dabpage at Mass transit incident which should be deleted; none of those things are commonly known as "mass transit incidents" in any reliable sources. 162 etc. (talk) 18:55, 16 August 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. - Support alternate move to Mass Transit wrestling incident - seems like a decent compromise that will avoid confusion. I suggest deleting both Mass Transit incident and Mass transit incident to avoid confusion. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 18:52, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
- Reliable sources use "Mass Transit incident", though. 162 etc. (talk) 21:51, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose for reasons of clarity. Mass Transit incident would clearly be taken to mean something to do with mass transit. -- Necrothesp (talk) 11:11, 19 August 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose for the same reasons as Necrothesp. CeltBrowne (talk) 15:46, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
- Support At minimum, the capitalization of Mass Transit incident is clearly unique enough to warrant WP:SMALLDETAILS, and while the sample size is small, of 17 incoming pageviews on Mass transit incident all 17 went on to click on this article (Wikinav). ~ F4U (talk • they/it) 02:04, 26 August 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose, more likely to be the name of a page about people being pushed into the path of subway trains. Maybe shorten the page disamb. to '(wrestling)'. Randy Kryn (talk) 15:21, 1 September 2024 (UTC)
- Comment The Mass Transit incident isn't about wikt:mass transit, just like Boston Tea Party is not about a wikt:tea party. WP:COMMONNAME applies. Oppose votes do not seem to be supported by policy. 162 etc. (talk) 16:21, 1 September 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose per Necrothesp above. Would cause confusion and needs the WP:QUALIFIER to point readers to the right place. cyberdog958Talk 05:09, 9 September 2024 (UTC)
