Matilda of HolsteinMechtilde of Holstein – Per WP:COMMONNAME and WP:UE. The most common variants of her name are Mechtilde (Danish), Mechtild (Swedish) and Mechthild (German). There are some English sources for "Mechtild of Holstein", "Mechtilde of Holstein" and "Mechthild of Holstein", but nothing much for "Matilda of Holstein". She is too rarely discussed to have Ngram counts for any of the names. The article at Dansk biografisk Lexikon does give "Mathilde" as a variant, but I don't see that it would be used much in the sources. Most of the sources in the article use Mechtilde, and she had the most impact on Danish affairs, which is why I prefer the Danish spelling over the Swedish or German ones here.
