The quiz definitely deserves mentioning

[edit]

This article should definitely mention that quiz in the game.

"Stolen" Material

[edit]

For what it's worth, large portions of the story section of this page were lifted from the plot analysis I wrote for The Legends Station. You can view the original here http://www.legends-station.com/article01.php It was originally posted on the website on September 14th, 2004, well before the information was added to this wiki. News page: http://www.legends-station.com/archive11.php Now, I really don't mind my writing being put up, but I would have liked at least to be asked first. It almost feels like my work was stolen. Again though, I don't mind it being up here, and appologies aren't necessary (admittedly, it's kind of a compliment for someone to think it was good enough to copy (almost) word for word.), I just would like it to be known that the work was originally mine.

Needs more work..

Inappropriate usage of genetic code

[edit]

In its present form this article makes a very bad usage of the term genetic code. The genetic codes of humans, monkeys, rats and many other very distantly related living organisms are all absolutely identical. What the well intentioned editors wanted to mean instead of genetic code was probably genome. Please correct if I am right, and please explain if I am wrong. -- Sophos II (talk) 23:31, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Master

[edit]

Hey, I thought "Master" referred to the zero-looking last true human or such, not God, as it links to in the penultimate paragraph. MEEEEEEEEE! (talk) 20:02, 18 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dont make the Plot too long + Guidelines

[edit]

When I rewritten the entire article in April I took in mind to resolve the issue stated in the old version that the tone of the article is inappropriate (per WP:TONE), has a plot that is way too long (per WP:PLOT & WP:SIZE) and the article itself has no sources (per WP:V). To conform with the said standards the synopsis (or plot or summary or whatever you may call it) should not be so long that it covers every detail but also not too short that it misses all the important stuff (per WP:Notability). All I am saying is: if you have something to say, stick by the rules.

If a user wishes to write "in-universe" facts and references of characters, names or places to other Megaman video games then integrate them appropriately (by means of new sections or others) but not saturate the article and also whether we like it or not it must be appropriately referenced even if you know its the TRUTH. Don't get me wrong I'm avid Mega Man fan and MML2 is my most favorite game but if a user can't comply with the standards of Wikipedia then I suggest that they go to the Mega Man-Wiki to put their in-universe knowledge to use.

I manually reverted the changes made by succeeding users after the version of 13 May 2009 because by letting the section be as it is, WP:PLOT and WP:SIZE will be violated again due to it's length. Now with respect to the said succeeding users, if you deemed that the old plot of the old version (13 May) is obsolete then replace it with a short and appropriate replacement that conforms with the standards of Wikipedia specially WP:PLOT and WP:SIZE.

This post is for everybody's knowledge that a too long plot, under harmonic wordings and no source issues has happened to this article before in order to prevent a historic recurrence. Thank you for you're time... Kendelarosa5357 (talk) 15:05, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
