Protection

[edit]

Can there be an edit protect because of inaccurate information at this time, as there is a lot of different stories going around. RIP

I'm going to go to WP:RFPP and try and get it protected. Davnel03 11:22, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I don't believe this is required. No inaccurate information is on this page and two established users are keeping an eye on it (as can be seen from the edit history). The Rambling Man 11:23, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Removed request. If there is vandalism though in the forthcoming hours, I'll add a request then. Davnel03 11:30, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, WP:FOOTBALL has been told, you, me and Matty are watching it, I think it'll be fine. The Rambling Man 11:32, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
...and? I'm a member a WP:FOOTBALL too, does it really matter who watches the article? Davnel03 12:31, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
All I'm saying is that several people will be keeping an eye on it so vandalism can be quickly dealt with. Much better than protecting the page, this is a wiki after all. The Rambling Man 13:07, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
can someone reword the death section - the sentence about the car hitting the metal post etc, is directly lifted from bbc's site... 77.101.18.129 22:38, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've edited the crash description slightly, I felt the phrase "smashed into a post" was a touch graphic and possibly in poor taste so I've just reworded it. --JamesHirst (talk) 13:06, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
