I am wondering if this falls afoul of WP:ONEEVENT, since we have this article and 2011 Canadian federal election voter suppression scandal as well. - Ahunt (talk) 21:04, 23 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I thought the same thing when I chose to create the article, however, the Robocall scandal was a significant event in recent Canadian political history, and Sona has become the face of the scandal. When I typed his name into Google I was surprised there was no Wikipedia article about him. I think the article can be justified because it was a significant event and Sona's role in it was a large one. The extensive coverage of Sona's role in the event, his appearance on Power & Politics, speak to the significance of the event and Sona's notability for his part in it. This article doesn't seem to run afoul of WP:ONEEVENT for those reasons.--Darryl Kerrigan (talk) 17:36, 24 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
By the way thank you for raising the issue Ahunt. It is certainly not a bad idea for us to consider the policy. I will raise the issue on the Robocall scandal talk page. Happy Holidays--Darryl Kerrigan (talk) 20:32, 24 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
These are always worthwhile debates to have, regardless of what is decided in the end. - Ahunt (talk) 21:17, 24 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
