Deletions by AHW, and additions by him of redundant material
[edit]AHW has been repeatedly deleting material in the text about the religion of the subject of the bio, supported by multiple RS refs.
At the same time, he keeps on insisting on adding info twice, completely redundantly, in the same para as to the religion of Seidman's parents (not the subject of the bio). While I think that it is questionable as to whether that information is notable in this bio at all, it is clearly not appropriate to have the same text twice, as AHW has repeatedly insisted (and to which he has repeatedly reverted).
That's disruptive, and the repeated deletion of RS-supported text is within the realm of vandalism. I would request that he stop.--Epeefleche (talk) 04:10, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
- We've been over this before. I'm having a real hard time believing that you don't understand that a statement as to Seidman's actual religious and/or ethnic background is preferable to simply quoting a reference book or text of names that calls him "Jewish" without any explication whatsoever. - We have been over this before, and you've made the same unusual edits. Deleting well-sourced references to the religion of the subject of a bio. And inserting less-well-sourced references to the religion of the parent's of the subject of the bio. I fail to see any legitimate rationale for it.--Epeefleche (talk) 06:21, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
