Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because... Pac-12 Conference terminology[edit]

Discussion at Talk:Pac-12 Conference has determined the "Pacific-12 conference" name to be incorrect (since inception in 2011!), with "Pac-12 conference' preferred as shown by the conference's 2015–16 handbook (p. 6), "The name of this association shall be the Pac-12 Conference".

After the consensus was achieved in December, over 1000 links have been subsequently corrected from Pacific-12 Conference to Pac-12 Conference with fewer than 50 instances remaining to be corrected, yay! However, this article continues to be reverted to use the incorrect name of the conference. Perhaps this article, too, should be updated to use Pac-12 Conference to reflect the correct name of the conference. Cheers, UW Dawgs (talk) 04:02, 8 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
