Age?

[edit]

A privateer in the 1600s living to 104? Obvious BS. Can someone find out what his actual age is? Feijuada 15:30, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's just possible, though practically unheard of, that he could have lived this long. However, another part of the article, near the beginning, caught my attention as being even more freakishly unlikely: that he would be given a military command at the age of four. The article states that he was born in 1534, and then in 1538 he was tasked with repelling invaders during a battle. AvidDismantler (talk) 19:59, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

In Turkish sources his birth date is undetermined. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 17:58, 10 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Name

[edit]
How about moving it to Murat Rais? There seem to be more results about rais than reis.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 11:36, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
