writeup was too commercial

[edit]

The writeup is so clearly intended to promote the documentary as it goes on about how great it is...doesn't really contribute anything to the actual subject. It's spam. ⋙–Berean–Hunter—► ((⊕)) 23:07, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stella Lawson

[edit]

Part of "Marie's rumored pregnancy by Charlie" section is hard to make sense of.

When one reads this: "Stella said that at the funeral for the Lawsons she had overheard Fannie's sisters-in-law and aunts, including Stella's mother Jettie Lawson, discussing how Fannie Lawson had confided in them that she had been concerned about an incestuous relationship between Charlie and Marie" it sounds like they were discussing this at the funeral for the murder victims however then we read this: "Jettie died in early 1928, meaning Fannie had been suspicious of the incest at least that long before the murders in late 1929" - How exactly was Jettie at the funerals for the victims if she had died over a year before? Was this discussed at the murder victims' funeral or at Jettie's funeral? Or someone else's funeral? If it was the funeral for the victims, then how did a dead woman attend? Or is her death year wrong? (The linked newspaper article does not mention said discussion, etc)

Was it Charlie’s fault completely?

[edit]

According to the Netflix series “28 days haunted” Jereme and Brandy were to spend 28 days in Madison dry goods (north Carolina) a former funeral parlour if I’m not mistaken. During this time, jereme had come in contact with a negative energy which had tried to posses him. After this “meeting” with this energy, he began acting strangely, was tired all the time, angry, sleepy, had a lot of head aches, and most importantly, he kept writing down “troubles can cause” which is very random. After Brady started worrying, she talked to a murder expert , Trudy. According to Trudy, Charlie was seen with these symptoms 2 weeks before the murder. He was also found with two notes. One of them being, “troubles will cause”. After brandy talked to Charlie using her psychic abilities, she asked Charlie if he had felt a dark presence and if that caused him to murder his family and sexually assault his daughter. He responded twice with a yep and yes. So if this demonic spirit made him do it, and we have jereme felt it too, is it truly only Charlie’s fault? Zuukii (talk) 18:10, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Me personally I don’t think it’s his fault because demons are strong but Charlie didn’t pray I’m assuming so the demon had too much power and it took him over just like how it almost did jereme 2601:2C5:877F:B310:20F0:D298:F53C:8583 (talk) 03:32, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
