* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."
Expand : Professional sports (crucial article explaining the salaried undertaking of sports)

Hi @Mojackjutaily: ! I'm only just seeing this now since I haven't checked the page since my last set of edits in October and November. Consdering how much effort and content I've put in to this page over time, I kinda wish you would have tagged me as well when asking about thoughts for the edit. I'm honestly on board with most of the changes because it looks a lot sleeker, (and I agree the streaks listings were kinda clunky,) but I would like to suggest reinstating two main things:

Putting the Playoffs statistics table back in. I had originally modeled this page after Major League Soccer records and statistics (and W-League records and statistics) where the playoffs feature greatly. I understand how it might have been overlook thanks to being modeled off of the Premier League stats page, but considering that this is an American league, I think you can't not have playoff information here.
As the W-League page has full tables for the top ten margins of victory and top ten aggregate scores, I would suggest reinstating the corresponding tables from my last edit here as well.

Hi @CyMoahk2:, sorry about that i just thought you would see it earlier since its in your watchlist. any way i have no objection with putting Playoffs statistics, as you said it is an American league after all. but adding full table for biggest victories and highest aggregate scores would change the page design and i don't know were you will put it. Frankly I think such a table is unnecessary, these statistics should list the first club who has the biggest victories not top ten. --Mojackjutaily (talk) 20:14, 21 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Mojackjutaily: ! I'll admit I don't check my watchlist often - I don't log in often to begin with... ^.^ Hence only getting back to your replies now.

I'll go and add the playoff table back in now, then. For the games, though, I don't think it would change the "page design" much to add a small table in where three bullets currently are. Also, we have top ten lists elsewhere in the page, so I don't see the big conflict. If not a top ten list, then at the very least I would like to see top five lists in the same manner as on the MLS records and statistics page. CyMoahk2 (talk) 00:36, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Order of listings[edit]

The 'Total trophies by team' table currently has a comment that says to sort it by most titles (I think this is the same as most trophies), then most championships, then most recent championship. It seems to me it would make more sense to sort by most titles/trophies, then most championships, then most NWSL Shields, then most Challenge Cups, then most recent championship. That's how fans seem to view the ranking of trophies anyway. I don't think this would actually change the table's order at present, but in the future it could. Update Article[edit]

Hi there. Can this article get an update? The 2023 NWSL season has concluded making this version a full season out of date. Also, this article is really the only source for career statistics for the NWSL. The league itself only compiles yearly/seasonal statistics. Joeygina99 (talk) 14:26, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
