World War II service

[edit]

Although Barcliff served in the United States Army during the World War II era, no reliable sources found as of yet state that he served overseas in a war zone during the war. Accordingly, Category:American military personnel of World War II was removed from the article. Semper Fi! FieldMarine (talk) 01:34, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I think overseas service is irrelevant in this context - surely a colonel pushing paper in the Pentagon and a contemporary dancer are as much veterans as a cook on a USSAF air base in Suffolk. No Swan So Fine (talk) 16:37, 2 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
