Advice on neutrality of article

[edit]

After the advert tag was added to this article, I made some edits to try and give it a more neutral POV. Would appreciate it if a Wiki editor would review and, if it looks good now, to please remove the advert tag. If not, please let me know how I can make further improvements. Thanks for your help. Recent edits looked OK to me, so I removed advert tag. BTWheeler (talk) 18:26, 16 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Article content

[edit]

This article seems heavy on financial history and legal problems, but light on what the company actually does (or has done). The single sentence "New Relic is an American software analytics company based in San Francisco, California." is not very informative. Tcdaly (talk) 12:01, 27 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Products

[edit]

I have split "Products" off as a new, separate heading, because I think it should have more prominence, and I hope it will trigger more content being provided for this. Currently there are many lines in the article devoted to how the company has been marketed, but just one or two sentence on what it actually provides! —DIV (1.129.105.157 (talk) 02:59, 15 June 2019 (UTC))[reply]

Edit request – 1/25/24

[edit]

I'd like to request an edit since I have a conflict of interest. The company appointed a new CEO on December 4. Here's the source.[1]

This information can go in three places - the infobox, the history section, and the operations section. The syntax is visible in edit mode. The Silicon1 ref name will resolve if you run refill, or I can after you're done.

Infobox: please replace:

* Bill Staples (CEO)[2]

with

* Ashan Willy (CEO)[3]

In the history section the last sentence can be:

On December 4, the company announced former Proofpoint, Inc. CEO Ashley Willy as its new CEO.[3]

In the operations section, please replace:

Its CEO as of May 2021 is Bill Staples, and Lew Cirne is the company's executive chairman.[4]

with

Its CEO as of January 2024 is Ashan Willy.<ref name=cdnet>[4]

Thanks for your help.
