Year and place of birth are missing
[edit]The date of birth and place of birth are both missing. Eastmain (talk • contribs) 04:37, 7 July 2022 (UTC)
Is he the leader?
[edit]I've just read the Operation Dudula article and it says that this person "cut ties" with this "hate group" last year! So, wouldn't it be right to change the term in the introduction to read "former leader"? GeographicAccountant (talk) 21:18, 25 June 2023 (UTC)

Nhlanhla "Lux" Dlamini → Nhlanhla Lux – The article's current name, with Lux in quotes, is not compliant with WP:NICKNAME, and I think Nhlanhla Lux is what he is most commonly known as (he certainly isn't known as Lux Dlamini). Just want to run this past other editors before going ahead with the move. Jlalbion (talk) 11:08, 30 June 2023 (UTC)

- Oppose The current title appears to be the name by which the subject is most-commonly referred, and doesn't seem to contravene WP:NICKNAME. The examples given are William "Bill" Clinton, which is not comparable to the case here, and "Weird Al" Yankovic, which is similar. Greenman (talk) 18:50, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
- As a caveat I would say the existing sources are a small sample size, and naming is highly inconsistent, so a more in-depth analysis of usage would be welcome. Greenman (talk) 18:53, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
- We always try to avoid using nicknames in quotes between the real names like this. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:45, 5 July 2023 (UTC)

- Support per WP:COMMONNAME. The references to "Nhlanhla "Lux" Dlamini" quite possibly are because of WP:CIRCULAR references. Park3r (talk) 04:43, 7 July 2023 (UTC)
- Support per nom. The current title certainly does go against the language of WP:NICKNAME. The phrase "a nickname, or a contracted version of the original given name(s)" includes nicknames that are not a form of the given name(s). {{replyto|SilverLocust}} (talk) 11:57, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
