It is stated that Payne was part of a “1995 U.S. Junior National Team that earned a gold medal at the Pan American Games”, which has been copied from her archived 2006 UCLA bio. This seems dubious, given that the Junior Pan American Games were not created until 2019 (Pan American Games#Junior Pan American Games), with their first occurrence to be the 2021 Junior Pan American Games. In case there is some confusion in the UCLA bio, and this was meant to be the regular Pan American Games, there was only a Men's event in Water polo at the 1995 Pan American Games. Was it perhaps some other, actual, international event at which the 1995 U.S. Junior National Team earned a gold medal? Is there some other sourced information (not mimicking the UCLA bio nor this Wikipedia article) that provides information and confirmation as to which international competition this refers to?
