Nice. Why didn't you bother adding it to the article?--Robbstrd 21:57, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nigel D. Findley Memorial Awards?

[edit]

On the homepage of game designer Monte Cook, the following award for DnD (3ed) Player's Handbook is mentioned: Nigel D. Findley Award for Outstanding Roleplaying Product of the Year, from SunQuest Partners, Inc. and MegaCon 2001 (that seems to be a Florida gaming and comic convention). It has also been awarded to Castle Falkenstein in 1995, Deadlands in 1996, LOTR trading card game in 2002. Still I don't find any official information on this award. By whom and how is it awarded? That would be great to know more about! Once we found out we can add it to the article. 129.33.19.254 (talk) 15:09, 17 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, that's great! Is this enough to add something to the article about it? Like, do we have the first year it was started? 129.33.19.254 (talk) 14:38, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The above was all I found. So we don't know 1) how the award is connected to Findley (other than by name), 2) when they started the award, 3) if they still give it out, and 4) if they regularly make a charity donation. —MJBurrage(TC) 00:16, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Died of heart attack

[edit]

Page 6 of GURPS Illuminati, copywrite 1992, 1996, states that he fied of a heart attack. Someone who wants to wade through kludgey Wikipedia sourcing may feel free to add the citation. 71.200.42.132 (talk) 18:30, 27 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
