Because it has hosted numerous NASCAR Modified races. Which open wheel series have raced at the track? I can be added to WikiProject American Open Wheel Racing too if it is appropriate. This race actually hosted a NASCAR Grand National Division (now Sprint Cup Series) race back in 1952. That race is wrongly signed as helded at the Owego (NY) speedway. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.240.113.52 (talk) 15:44, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
