"Pain" not "Pein" in katakana[edit]

The character's name in official Ultimania books is パイン (Pain), not ペイン (Pein). Please do not restore this inaccurate edit. Ryu Kaze 00:22, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Failed "good article" nomination[edit]

This article failed good article nomination. This is how the article, as of 4 February 2007, compares against the six good article criteria:

1. Well written?: The article has some areas where unnecessary words roam. Such as the line: Paine's default costume bears resemblances to New York City punk stylings and is somewhat Gothic, and also bears similarities to the outfit worn by Final Fantasy VIII's lead protagonist, Squall Leonhart. Paine's costume design and personality also have similarities to Lulu.
2. Factually accurate?: The references are in game, and cannot be trusted without credible sites.
3. Broad in coverage?: It describes some of her personality but doesn't get much into what she does in the game while being played. It's needs more expansion and its LEAD section is to short.
4. Neutral point of view?: Some people may not think she looks punk, but the main article itself is mostly neutral.
5. Article stability? The article itself is stable, but needs to put in more of a wiki manner is some areas.
6. Images?: For a good article, consider having 3-5 good images. This should be addressed after the above is complete.

When these issues are addressed, the article can be resubmitted for consideration. Thanks for your work so far. Pembroke 23:06, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just as a question, how much more factually accurate can references be than in-game? Paine herself states almost all the information in the progress of the game, therefore who else are we to listen to? Vaguely 08:06, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
