Members of Patton Administration

[edit]

This is misleading since none of the people listed on the link were appointed by Patton. Only Henry, the Lt. Governor, was elected with him directly. The others were independently elected and operated independently of the governor. A more accurate list or link of the members of the Patton administration would be a list of his intimates and important appointed staff like Skipper Martin, Crit Luallen, Jack Conway, Denis Fleming, etc.

Unreferenced accusation

[edit]

A section of the article, unsupported by any references, claimed that votes were cast for Patton in the names of dead people in the 1995 election. That is a wholly unsupported allegation and such unsubstantiated, bogus rumor has no place here.

Post Governor Politics

[edit]

A Paul Patton was Judge-executive of Taylor County, KY ca. 2004-07. Is this the same person or just same name?

Oddly 2004-09 are unaccounted for on this page. VulpineLady (talk) 22:57, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just the same name, it seems. According to this, the Paul Patton that was judge/executive in Taylor County was Paul W. Patton, not Paul E. Patton, the subject of this article. Nice catch, though. Thanks for pointing it out. Acdixon (talk contribs count) 19:21, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Sure thing...I actually met the one in Taylor; funny I don't recall anyone ever mentioning a middle initial O_O VulpineLady (talk) 05:27, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

spelling Conner or Connor

[edit]

I see "Tina Conner sex scandal" but in the text I am also seeing the spelling "Connor". This needs to be fixed by someone more familiar with the situation than I am. I am not from Kentucky.

Picture?

Surely there's a better/more representative picture than a PR stunt that makes him look like a NASCAR driver? Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 19:33, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
