Support doesn't seem to be the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Among my top 50 Google Books hits [1] for "penitentes are" (quick-and-dirty way to restrict to English), I see only nine for the snow formation, with the rest referring to the Penitente Brotherhood or other penitent orders. 210.6.254.106 (talk) 06:52, 4 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The description of the formation of penitents is badly written, thus too hard for laymen to understand.

Description of formation of penitents is badly written, thus too hard for laymen to understand. I do understand how they are formed, and what the article says. If I did not, I could not make this criticism. But for several reasons I am unable to correct it, at least for now.
