Air dates
[edit]How could the UK air it first if the show originated in Japan. The UK air dates should also be after the US air dates. The Diamond and Pearl article has it in the correct order (JP, US, UK), whereas here it's UK, JP, US. Is that an error? - Eugene Krabs (talk) 03:21, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
- The last few (I think it was four) Battle Dimension episodes aired in the UK before they did in the US, if that is what you mean. MelicansMatkin (talk) 03:26, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
- Whoops. >_< Misread the whole thing. Anyway, why were the last two aired before the US aired them? - Eugene Krabs (talk) 04:44, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
- Can't answer the "why" without asking the UK station's operators and schedule programmers, but I think that during the season (definitely at the end) they aired two new episodes a week instead of just one, meaning that they caught up with and passed the American episode count. It's not a huge surprise that episodes aired elsewhere before they did in the US; Canada was ahead by quite a bit at one point in Johto. MelicansMatkin (talk) 15:04, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
- An editor from the UK here, at one point we aired new 10 episodes a week, it seems odd but has happened for other television programmes too, the end of the dub of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX was shown here first as well on the same station. We usually get series roughly halfway through the series' American broadcast, and speed through at anything between 2 and 16 episodes a week. At the point we passed America, the UK was showing two episodes per day. Akata (talk) 01:39, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
- Whoops. >_< Misread the whole thing. I think I know what you mean, I have the same problem, someone's changed the Aux4 tags to Aux3, so accidentally re-arranging the chart to UK-JP-US-AU. I'll check the source and try and fix it. Akata (talk) 01:45, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
- Should be fixed now. It seems when adding Australian dates an editor decided to change the field "Aux4" used for UK dates to "Aux3", the only problem being that "Aux3"'s location is before the Japanese airdate. Changing them all to "Aux1"-"Aux4" seems to have worked though. Akata (talk) 02:13, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
- Aaaand now the Australian dates are gone, removing the problem, but after I converted all the dates to Aux*. :( Akata (talk) 05:05, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

- List of Pokémon: DP Battle Dimension episodes → List of Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl: Battle Dimension episodes — User:Donald Duck attempted to move this article to the new name, but was unable to due to the other name already existing as a multi-edited redirect. The user attempted a copy/paste move, which I reverted, and am now here to request a move to the new name. The user originally attempted to move to "keep it consistent" with other articles, such as List of Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl: Galactic Battles episodes and List of Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl: Sinnoh League Victors episodes. 十八 23:56, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
- Is there evidence that the shows in qustion uses the full name Diamond and Pearl. The image of the title card in all the article simply use DP.--76.66.182.44 (talk) 02:17, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
- The Japanese form (which is English spelt in kana) has the 2 words in full: ポケットモンスター ダイヤモンド&パール = Poketto Monsutā Daiyamondo & Pāru. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:50, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
