[edit]It is not improbable that this relationship was the basis for the musical comedy "Eine Kleine Nachtsmusik". 210.50.16.21 08:00, 13 March 2007 (UTC) Ian Ison
Name?
[edit]Why list a Swedish prince under a non-Swedish, more Danish-sounding spelling? Why not just list him as (Prince) Fredrik Adolf of Sweden? Tomas e (talk) 14:49, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
- In English, this man should be listed as Frederick Adolph. SergeWoodzing (talk) 21:10, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
Article name
[edit]Why the long and cumbersome article name? Why not just Frederick Adolph of Sweden? There has been only one and isn't likely to be another. Since when do we put titles and nations in personal names when naming WP articles? Simplicity! SergeWoodzing (talk) 21:10, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
he and his sister
[edit]This phrase, used several times in the first couple paragraphs, still showed the singular verb "was" . . . did someone change the article to include the mention of his sister? Is it necessary to include the mention of his sister? If someone would like to edit again, please feel free, accd'g to Wikipedia's guidelines. Ed8r (talk) 14:53, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
- If this is just a question of correcting a mistake in the English language, then feel free to correct it - all editors do not have an English language background and may therefore unintentionally make language errors - I myself have made several additions to this article (I don't recall if it includes this specific meaning), but as I am not a native English speaker, I may have made language errors without being aware of it, so please feel free to correct it. Perhaps it should be "him and his sister" (?), but not being native in the English language, I do not feel confident enough to correct it.--Aciram (talk) 17:41, 15 April 2015 (UTC)

Prince Frederick Adolf of Sweden → Prince Frederick Adolf, Duke of Östergötland – Per Wikipedia:Naming conventions (royalty and nobility), which states that Princes who hold substantive titles should have the title in their article name. 2601:241:300:C930:4C9:9C2:C7AE:BE8D (talk) 00:18, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
