Merge with Professional Baseball In Japan

[edit]

The Japanese Baseball page is a duplicate, and should be merged with the older Professional Baseball In Japan article. --Ohms law 12:51, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Information on Koshien is unrelated to professional baseball. So, Baseball in Japan should not redirect to either the pro article, or the high school article. I think that page's structure is fine, the way it is. Neier 13:07, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This page is very sketchy. I added a section of references and will try to add more. cwh 04:54, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Logically it would seem better to have an article "Baseball in Japan," with a section "Professional Baseball in Japan." 75.4.159.87 19:36, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. —Quasirandom 16:24, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I say don't merge because the two articles are two different subjects. Spartyboy40 01:17, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge ASAP. can be subsection. Tainter 01:47, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If anything, professional baseball is a subset of baseball in Japan. There is a lot of baseball in Japan outside of pro ball. Merging would be a very bad idea. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 05:13, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Upmerge

[edit]

Most of baseball in Japan discusses professional baseball; the overlap is large enough that this article should actually be merged there. -- Beland (talk) 17:16, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
